MEDICAL ASSISTANT
Part-Time
We are looking for an experienced medical assistant to join their team. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to be a part of a growing company and make a difference in the lives of others.
Job Description:
- Greeting patients and collecting patient information prior to their appointment
- Taking vitals signs and recording them in the patient's chart
- Assisting the provider with exams and procedures
- Performing lab tests and EKGs as needed
- Scheduling follow up appointments for patients as needed
- Answering phone calls and responding to patient inquiries
- Handling billing inquiries from patients or insurance companies
The Successful Applicant:
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Must have completed an accredited Medical Assistant program
- Must be certified as a Medical Assistant by the AAMA, NHA, or AMT
- 1+ years of experience working as a Medical Assistant preferred
- Bilingual English/Spanish speaking preferred but not required

NURSE PRACTITIONER
Full-Time

Job Description:
- Provide primary care services to patients of all ages, with a focus on preventative care and health education
- Work collaboratively with the medical team to provide high quality patient care
- Use your clinical skills to assess, diagnose, and treat patients according to best practices
- Develop long term relationships with patients and their families
- Keep up to date on current evidence based medicine and share your knowledge with the team
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
The Successful Applicant:
- Must be a certified Nurse Practitioner in good standing with the state Board of Nursing
- 3+ years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner, preferably in primary care or family practice
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of evidence based medicine
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with patients
- Passion for providing high quality patient care in a collaborative team environment

PATIENT SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE

Job Description:
The Patient Service Representative (PSR) is responsible for greeting patients and visitors, answering phones, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance benefits, collecting copays/deductibles/coinsurance, and other clerical duties as needed. The PSR demonstrates excellent customer service skills at all times.
The Successful Applicant:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- 1 year of customer service experience required; medical office experience preferred but not required
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Offer Details:
- Full time role - Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm with some flexibility for occasional Saturday hours as needed.
- Compensation will be based on experience plus full benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance and 401k match after 1 year of employment.
